A proven method to stabilize infill

The Green Game Series is a range of artificial turf sports surfaces exclusive to CCGrass, which combine monofilament fibres with strong curly yarn, in every tuft of grass. The curly yarn works as a supporting layer, that together with sand, helps the straighter yarn stand upright to create a more stable surface, thereby providing a unique turf with high level sports performance.

Replicates roots in natural turf

The curly yarn looks, acts and feels like natural grass roots, with a similar support function.

Stabilises the sand in the turf

The tight curls of yarn encapsulate the sand infill, restricting its movement to make the support layer more stable. This helps to create a surer base layer, especially important for players’ foot stability.

Provides a better base for the performance layer

The combination of curly fibres and sand provides a great base for the performance infill to work on. It also helps keep the performance infill separate, thus ensuring maximum benefit from this layer.

Makes a more durable system

With the curly yarn supporting the straighter fibres, the grass stays upright far longer, to offer better sports performance. This allows players to get good traction when turning on the turf, and reduces subsequent movement (“splash”) of the performance infill. A stable and consistent infill layer creates a better ball roll in the unfilled fibre above, whilst enabling the player to experience less movement and resistance when the sports shoe is in contact with the surface.
