Our artificial grass football field for KUCFC in England tested to FIFA standards and obtained FIFA Quality certification. The Keyworth surface and surrounding areas look fantastic and make a great addition to the club and the wider community.
About the project
The installation has been carried out by the team at Charles Lawrence on behalf of The Malcolm Group, the new artificial grass football pitch at Keyworth United has been a huge success.
Although the installation was held up over the winter of 2020 to 2021, due to bad weather, and the build was advised to be put on hold, as soon as the work began again, it was clear this decision was correct and the wait meant the build went without a hiccup.
About Keyworth United Community Football Club
Keyworth United Community Football Club is one of the oldest and most respected football clubs in Nottinghamshire and the proud holders of the FA’s highly coveted Community Club status.
KUCFC now has around 50 teams including 12 girls and ladies teams and caters to walking football and disability football. All of the club’s teams now train in the house on this new state-of-the-art artificial grass football field.
About the surface
The smooth fibers in the Superb yarn mean that it is soft to the touch and extremely player-friendly, whilst also being incredibly resilient due to the purer C8 polymer used.
Due to the ability of the fibre to “stand up”, the ball roll is as close to a high-quality natural turf pitch as possible, whilst the ease with which the yarn allows players to twist and turn takes football on artificial grass to a new level.
