Tudor Grange Academy Solihull

CCGrass artificial football pitch for Tudor Grange Academy in England has tested to the FIFA standards and obtained the FIFA Quality certification.

About the project:

The Solihull-based Tudor Grange Academy was the recipient of a CCGrass Stemgrass 60 field, at the start of 2022. Funded largely by the Football Foundation, the new synthetic turf pitch was built by Charles Lawrence Surfaces, on behalf of the parent company WH Malcolms.

The previous natural turf pitch was unplayable so the academy worked diligently with Birmingham County FA, The Football Foundation, and local youth football clubs to secure the 3G at the school.

About the surface:

The 12,000 dtex Stemgrass 60 yarn is flat and wide with a central spine, offering excellent infill coverage. It is soft to touch (player friendly) and very hard wearing.  The two tone green Stemgrass fibres add to the overall natural look, with the mid-range pile weight providing a great appearance as well as first class results.
